background
The Marne Aval wastewater treatment plant is part of an overall sanitation plan for the Parisian suburbs that dates back to 1968. Opened in 1979, its purpose at the time was to treat wastewater for a population equivalent of 112,000 inhabitants. In the beginning, it was an active sludge wastewater treatment plant. A nitrogen fixation unit was then added.
Faced with new regulations and the obsolescence of the facility, the SIAAP commissioned us to completely rebuild the plant.
