We produce the costing and planning of projects in the tender phase in close collaboration with the teams in charge of design, methods and procurement. Together, we develop a clear and detailed construction scenario and propose optimisations and variants for a more efficient, sustainable and economical construction project.
Our specialist price analysis personnel have engineering training, ensuring a full understanding of the structure to be designed and the means necessary for its realisation. In addition, our planning teams draw up the schedule for the construction site in advance, an operation that is now essential for the design of projects in BIM mode. Interfaces, deadlines and costs for design and construction are therefore finely tuned.
The teams also provide support to projects in the execution phase on planning aspects and, for the price analysis teams, in relation to new projects or the preparation of a claim file.
Spotlight on Assiut dam
For the construction of the new dam in Assiut, The technical variant we proposed for the construction of the new Assiut dam reduced the budget by 15% compared to our competitors’ offer. Instead of the complex work of immersed concrete, the design offices at the headquarters in France and Cairo opted to lower the level of the Nile and its water table by 28 m by means of a temporary dyke and a pumping system. This enabled the foundation work to be carried out in dry conditions, even during the legendary floods of the Egyptian river.

Every project launch is therefore based on a very precise study and a construction scenario running up to the commissioning of the structure thanks to an analysis of past achievements, and takes advantage of optimised solutions developed during the study.
IMPROVED PERFORMANCE THROUGH OUR INTERNAL SOLUTIONS
To provide our clients with more added value, we have developed internal digital costing solutions, while training our teams in the use of market tools such as Primavera, Tylos, Candy, etc. Similarly, we have developed GEStimTM software to calculate the overall greenhouse gas emissions generated by the construction of a major project, starting from the tender phase, in line with our environmental ambition.
In addition, the internal process of managerial monitoring of the preparation of bids, involving several approval meetings by the Managing committee before they are submitted, ensures a high level of quality and a 360° review of the projects by experienced multidisciplinary teams.
